All the craftsmanship of our black concho strap — in warm, character-rich brown oil-tanned leather.
This strap is built from top-of-the-line brown oil-tanned leather sourced in the US, cut to 2.25 inches wide and backed with a gorgeous top-notch suede. Oil tanning gives the leather a naturally distressed, marble-finish look that deepens with age — and if it picks up a scratch, just rub it with your fingertip. It disappears. The backing is glued on before we sew it, making this strap nearly impossible to pull apart.
The conchos are hand-oxidized in our studio to a rich blackened finish, then woven onto the strap using a single continuous lacing. That means the conchos are locked in. Roll the strap up, stuff it in your case, do it a thousand times — you will never lose a concho.
Our hand-oxidized solid brass buckle adjustment system was invented right here in our studio — we were the first, and no one else does it quite like we do. The design distributes the weight of your guitar evenly across your shoulder — no slipping, no hotspots, just comfort through a full set. It’s been imitated, but never duplicated.
As with all of our straps, this one is just as beautiful from the back as it is from the front.
