The Dude abides. Duder, however, abides slightly differently.
This one-of-a-kind strap was made for a true Lebowski devotee whose nickname happens to be Duder, not Dude. Close enough. We started with a thick, supple black chap leather base and covered it in detailed kidskin overlays straight from the cult classic.
We design our custom straps with intention from front to back. The front, up to the shoulder, features The Jesus' iconic purple bowling ball in kidskin, plus "Duder" personalized for the owner. Nobody messes with the Jesus. The tail of the strap, which runs down the player's back alongside our buckle adjustment system, features a meticulously detailed kidskin Campbell's Soup can. It's the least visible part of the strap on stage. An easter egg for anyone who catches a glimpse when the guitarist turns around. If you know, you know. That's what they put Donny's ashes in.
Full disclosure: Jeri is a genuine, lifelong fan of this film. The buyer's budget ran out before the concept did, so she kept going anyway. The soup can demanded it. Every strap we make is built with heart, this one just wore it a little more visibly.
