Kristin Chenoweth is one of the most gifted performers in American entertainment, a Tony and Emmy Award winner whose voice, presence, and wit have made her a beloved figure across Broadway, television, and film. She is also, it turns out, a guitarist in the making.
Jeri met Kristin backstage at the CMA Awards, right around the time Kristin was just beginning to play guitar. The strap came out of that meeting, and it was designed entirely around who Kristin is.
Piano keys run the full length of the strap, front and back, a nod to the instrument she has played her whole life. Kidskin flowers are scattered throughout, adding softness and femininity to the design. The whole piece is embellished with Swarovski crystals. It is, by any measure, really pretty.
