Every element on this strap was built from scratch — including a few techniques nobody else in the world knows how to do.
We started with belt leather, run through our top-secret softening process to give it the perfect hand feel. From there it was dyed orange, painted black, and beveled along the edges to frame the entire strap in a clean orange border. It’s a small detail that makes a big visual statement.
The lettering and imagery are built from kidskin leather overlays, each piece glued down and meticulously stitched with clear thread so the artwork stays crisp and nothing competes with the design. Multiple finishes were used to create the different elements across the strap — including our crackle paint finish. It’s not patented. But nobody else knows how to do it and make it last. We’ve tried to explain it. We’ve given up trying to explain it.
