Jerry Garcia's "Wolf" was among the more than two dozen guitars he played throughout his career. It was his first-ever custom guitar and arguably his most beloved. Featured heavily in the 1977 Grateful Dead Movie and present at some of the band's most iconic '70s concerts, Deadheads believe the Wolf brought out Jerry's tone better than any other guitar he ever played.
This strap was made for one of our favorite customers, "New York Deadhead". Brown oil-tanned leather base, with an exact replica of the Wolf from Garcia's guitar hand-cut in kidskin on the front, complete with a hand-painted muzzle. The owner's initials on the back.
