Over more than two decades, Jeri Hart has had the honor of creating many custom guitar straps for Hank Williams Jr. — for his personal use and for his iconic Monday Night Football opening performances. He's every bit as cool as you think he is.
Monday Night Football Straps
For nearly a decade, Jeri created the custom straps Hank wore during his Monday Night Football openers. Each one was built for the moment, for the stage, and for the man. Specialty materials including vintage patent leather, kidskin, and snakeskin overlays made every season's strap its own statement.
Bocephus
The Bocephus strap is one of Jeri's most personal commissions for Hank. Built from stingray skin, it carries the nickname he's worn his whole career. Hank has been wearing it for about 20 years.
Thunderhead Hawkins
Another strap created for Hank personally, built for the character and the legend behind the name.
