Neil wore this strap from about 1968 to 1972 from what we can tell. Straps in those days were nice meaty pieces of leather that were cut and buckled together with no backing. We have used our thick, supple Bomber Pilot leather to re-create this strap. It doesn't allow for a lot of adjustability, so we prefer to create these custom for the wearer.
We have added snaps to the adjustment area which will allow for one more inch of adjustment. The snaps are heavy duty, we hung from the ceiling with one of these straps, so they will hold your guitar.
Please leave a note on check-out as to your custom strap length. If you select the Standard length, please make sure the measurement of 47 to 50 inches will work for you. This strap adjusts by about seven inches, but it looks best when used with just a few inches of the adjust-ability area.
