We use our thick, supple Bomber Pilot leather to replicate the weight and feel of the original. The strap is cut to 2.75 inches at the wide section, with a thinner adjustment area finished with heavy duty snaps that add an additional inch of adjustability. How heavy duty? We hung from the ceiling with one of these straps to test them. Your guitar is safe.
Because this design doesn't allow for a wide range of adjustability, we prefer to make these custom to your exact length for the best look and fit. The strap adjusts about seven inches total but looks best used within just a few inches of your ideal length.
