Jeri met Toby Keith backstage at the CMA Awards. He commissioned this bandolier strap on the spot.
The Bandolier is one of Jeri's most distinctive designs, cut three inches wide from black chap leather or brown oil-tanned leather, with each bullet loop stitched individually by hand. It holds real hardware, empty .308 Winchester brass casings, the kind of detail that separates a prop from the real thing. Toby Keith knew exactly what he wanted, and this was it.
He wore it in concert. Jeri saw it with her own eyes. The photo she was promised never arrived. Some stories are like that.
