Our multi-talented client, Chris Kelley built a gorgeous '57 Bel Air inspired Stratocaster, and wanted a strap to go with it. The guitar is called “Belle Aria” and she is designed around the ’57 Bel Air. Chris actually created a cardboard mock-up of the strap design, and we LOVE it!
He sent along paint samples of Seafoam green and Antique White, which he used on the guitar. The strap inset has a Kidskin tuck and roll insert to match the seat designs they used in some of the cars back then. Chris says it's a '57 Chevy Bel Air...Jeri's thinking Nash Metropolitan...but then again, she's always thinking about a Nash Metropolitan...
