Made for a member of the Tex-Mex band Dmilo, this strap is exactly what it should be: bold, warm, and a little spicy.
We started with supple belt leather painted white, then added kidskin hot pepper overlays and actually wove strips of kidskin together to create a rope to hang them from. Personal imagery meaningful to the owner is woven into the design. The edges are beveled and dyed black to frame the strap, and the back is lined with high quality suede.
