This is a replica of the guitar strap now worn by David Gilmour, previously owned by Jimi Hendrix. We think the strap has faded from it's original purple to brown, since we can't find a photo of Jimi with a brown one...and we hung some purple Suede outside in the sun, and it sure did turn brown! David wears it backwards from the way Jimi wore it, with the leather tab in the back rather than the front.
Someone got a little punch happy on this one and punched for lacings closer to the tip than we normally do. It's perfect otherwise, but the X on the end without the leather tip is just about an inch too low.
This strap is normally created custom for the wearer because there's not a lot of adjustability. This one adjusts from about 47 inches to 51 inches.
