Ira Dean is one of the most multi-talented musicians on the planet. Performer, multi-hit songwriter, arranger, composer, lyricist, producer, and he plays something like 12 instruments. He is an ACM and AMA Award winner, Grammy nominated, and Oscar recognized. Co-founder of Trick Pony, whose platinum debut spawned mega-hits like "Pour Me" and the Grammy nominated "Just What I Do," and whose follow-up brought five more ACM nominations including Album of the Year. The guy is, by any reasonable measure, a musical genius.
He is also, by all accounts, just about the nicest person you will ever meet.
Ira has worn Jeri Hart Straps since the early years of Trick Pony. He still does.
This strap is his IFD strap. IFD stands for Ira F***ing Dean, because Ira thinks that's funny. And honestly, so do we.
The strap is built on a black leather base with "IFD" in black and white crackle kidskin overlays and scrolling ivy designs in the same crackle finish. Graphic, bold, and a little bit rock and roll, even for a country guy.
