This custom guitar strap brings together the psychedelic artwork of Michael Rios / Santana and the iconic image of Christ the Redeemer, the towering statue of Jesus overlooking Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Two powerful visual traditions, woven together into a single piece of handcrafted leather art.
The front is airbrushed in ombre, giving the base a rich, graduated depth of color before a single kidskin overlay is placed. The imagery is rendered in highly detailed kidskin leather overlays, each piece glued down and meticulously stitched with clear thread. The back features an airbrushed sky, so even the side no one sees is finished with intention.
