Montgomery Gentry brought a blue-collar authenticity to country music that resonated with fans across America for more than two decades. Troy Gentry and Eddie Montgomery were the real deal, and their music reflected it.
This photo of Troy was taken during a tour of Iraq, where he wore his Jeri Hart P.O.W. custom guitar strap. That he chose to bring it there says something about what it meant to him.
The P.O.W. strap is one of Jeri Hart's most significant designs, created in honor of America's prisoners of war and those who never came home. It is available for commission on the custom guitar strap page.
Troy Gentry passed away in September 2017. He is remembered.
