This strap belonged to Bob Lawder, musician and owner of Mudd Pubby Records. Bob passed away a few years ago, and he was a wonderful man. This piece is a tribute to him and the label he loved.
The base is thick, supple buffalo leather, with hand-cut kidskin overlays of the Mudd Pubby logo running up the front. The froggy Mudd Pubby character and records fill the front of the strap, while the Mudd Pubby lettering runs up the back. A blackened nickel adjustment buckle and a vintage Swarovski crystal centered on the guitar finish the piece.
