This custom guitar strap features airbrush work by David Karns, and kidskin overlays created by Jeri. The strap was painted with 3 stripes, green, yellow and red, then airbrushed over with a shading gray transparent paint. Jeri hand cut the flames, notes and guitars from kidskin, then DK airbrushed them to bring them to life with shading and bright, but rich colors, all tinged a bit with transparent gray. Hardware was added to make the guitars look like the real thing, including watch parts and vintage nail heads. Our kidskin overlays were glued, then stitched down in order to stay in place for a lifetime! The strap is backed with high quality suede and our signature adjustment buckle was added in oxidized blackened nickel.
