This strap was built to match a real Nudie Cohn suit, for a real rock and roll band.
We started with belt leather dyed blue, then painted black, with the edges beveled to frame the black strap in a sharp blue border. Kidskin leather overlays were built up across the strap, each piece glued down and meticulously stitched with clear thread. Then came the finishing touch: the entire strap hand-embellished with tiny Swarovski crystals, each one individually placed in a tiny silver rim. Every single one. By hand.
