This strap was made for the owner of The 17 Ranch, and every detail on it is real.
Artist David Karns airbrushed blue skies and clouds across the leather as the backdrop. Over that, we cut kidskin overlays depicting the actual ranch, including the enormous metal horse sculptures that stand on the property. A music staff and notes run along the strap, and the back is finished with a horseshoe for luck.
