Rob always asks for things that absolutely cannot be done with leather. Jeri always figures out how to do them anyway.
This Totem Pole strap was created for and with one of our favorite clients. Rob brings ideas that push every boundary we have, and Jeri is so inspired by them that she finds a way to make them real. Every single time. And always learns something new in the process.
Every face of the totem pole was hand-cut from kidskin leather, shape by shape, piece by tiny piece. Each one was glued together, then painstakingly stitched to the base: a crackled cream belt leather strap, our signature crackle technique, years in the making. The result is a feast for the eyes. Rich, vibrant, and genuinely three-dimensional.
