This strap starts with the same thick, supple black pebble-grained leather sourced in the US that we use across our classic line, cut to 2.25 inches wide and backed with high quality suede. What makes this one different is the lacing.
The strap is hand-punched and laced with matching leather lacings in a signature X pattern. Unlike stitched or knotted lacings, ours run as a single continuous length — so they will never break, fray, or pull loose. It’s a small detail that makes a big difference on a strap you plan to use for decades.
Our hand-oxidized solid brass buckle adjustment system was invented right here in our studio — we were the first, and no one else does it quite like we do. The design distributes the weight of your guitar evenly across your shoulder — no slipping, no hotspots, just comfort through a full set. It’s been imitated, but never duplicated.
